Goblet Of Fire Soundtrack
Thanks to AOL Music, you can listen to the entire Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire soundtrack online.
All I can say after listening to it is ‘wow’. It is a truly amazing piece of work. Almost a symphony unto itself. The score, composed by Patrick Doyle, is a lot different than the previous scores by John Williams, but it’s an improvement in my opinion. This score has a depth of feeling about it that I haven’t experienced before in a film period, let alone in the previous Potter movies. The songs have an almost operatic quality to them; you can feel the scope of the story in every note. In particular, “Voldemort” is a magnificent piece. I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was, moving from dark and brooding to creepy to foreboding in its 9 minute running time. I expect this soundtrack to rake in the awards next year, and it’s definitely on my Christamas list. Again, this is a simply amazing soundtrack. It surprised me with its ambition and its skill. This isn’t music for a kid’s movie; this is a musical masterpiece that should be in everyone’s collection.
