Alfonso Cuarón, director of Prisoner of Azkaban, was recently interviewed while promoting his new film Children of Men. In the interview, he revealed that he would love to direct another Harry Potter film.
Cuarón said:
I would love to have the opportunity to revisit the Harry Potter universe. It’s an amazing experience to do those films because while you’re doing those films, you’re surrounded with this amazing beneficial energy. Everything around the J.K. Rowling creating - I’m not talking about the film franchise but the creation of J.K. Rowling is impregnated with this amazing beneficial energy. So for me, it was two amazing years of my life, and I wouldn’t mind at all revisiting that.
I think it would be great if Alfonso were to direct Half-Blood Prince or the last film. I don’t think many people would argue with the suggestion that Azkaban was probably the best of the series so far. I think he could do an awesome job with Half-Blood Prince.

In a move that will undoubtedly puzzle and irritate Harry Potter fans everywhere, Warner Bros. has posted a ten second teaser for the upcoming teaser trailer for the Order of the Phoenix.

What we see looks great, but I think this is more than a little ridiculous. Just give us the whole freakin’ trailer already.

The first teaser poster for Order of the Phoenix was released today. It features Voldemort on a dark background with a quote above, “You will lose everything.” Apparently this is something he says in the movie, perhaps to Harry. To see the poster full size, click here.

I don’t know about anybody else, but it sounds awesome to me. I’m so excited about the movie because OotP is actually my favorite book of the series. I’m glad to hear that the Umbridge quill scene didn’t get cut. I was afraid it might have been a casualty. But Harry needs his scars; they make him who he is.
