Door Reveals Book 7 Title
The door on J.K. Rowling’s site is once again open, and this time, it reveals the title of Book 7. Granted, you have to go through a bit of trickery to get through the door, and then you have to play a game to reveal the title.
For instructions on how to get through the door, highlight the following area:
======
Go to Rowling’s site and click the eraser on her desk.
Click doorway in mirror to see Christmas tree.
Click on the top half of the door (not the one in the mirror) to get the wreath.
Click on the top of the mirror to get the garland.
Click on the spider web right next to the door to make them go away.
Click the 4th chime in the window and get the key for the door.
Drag key to unlock the door.
Door opens to show a desk with a package.
Click the bow on the package and it will open.
Click the inside of the package and a game of Hangman is shown where you can play a game to guess the name of the seventh book.
You can keep playing till you get it right and when you do a check mark will appear.

If you just want to know the title without going through all that rigmarole, highlight this area:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Also, I’m declaring the comments to this post to be a SPOILER zone. If you don’t know the title yet, or don’t want to know, read the comments at your own risk.
So my thoughts? Well, the title makes absolutely no sense to me. Especially as I’m only familiar with two definitions for the last word in the title, and neither have had any bearing on the series thus far, at least as far as I know. Also, I don’t know but it feels a bit awkward, this title. It doesn’t quite flow off the tongue the way the others do. I’m thinking it’s possible that Jo is playing a joke on us. Then again, when I read the last book, this title will probably make perfect sense.
