Rowling Signs Bust To Celebrate Completion Of Book 7
via HPANA
J.K. Rowling apparently finished work on the last Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, on January 11th at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh. She signed a marble bust in the hotel to mark the event. The inscription reads, “JK Rowling finished writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in this room (652) on 11th Jan 2007.”
That’s one statue that’s worth a whole lot of money. Wonder if it’ll be kept by the hotel or sold at an auction? I just think it’s cool that J.K. Rowling gets to deface the private property of the hotel and not get in trouble. Think I’ll try that the next time I stay at the Holiday Inn.

I wish I couls get an award for finishing my book at a hotel. That would inspire me to write another book, maybe I’ll title it….
“The Day That I Recieved an Award for a Book That Wasn’t Even Published Yet!’

The Holiday inn is cool, they make your bed for you. I never saw a bust though, but there was a girl with a really big chest.
