How to learn a foreign language: read Harry Potter in translation

This approach seems like a great way to bone up on your French, Italian, German, Spanish or any of the many languages into which the Harry Potter books have been translated.

I have a Chinese copy of Chamber of Secrets, but first I need to learn the symbols.
